Vibe:  Still the crown jewel of the Vegas strip.  The Bellagio mixes class with energy like no other place in town.

Location: The Bellagio is at the heart of the center strip.  Tough to find a better location then this one, but this hotel is so perfect you might not even want to leave to explore the rest of town.  Bellagio is near Caesars Palace, Paris, Bally’s, The Cromwell, and the Cosmopolitan.

Just like the Mirage that preceded it, when Steve Wynn’s Bellagio opened in 1998 it set the new standard in fancy-pants luxury resorts on the Las Vegas strip.  It may (arguably) have been knocked down a peg or two when Steve Wynn opened up two more luxury properties just up the street at Wynn Las Vegas and Encore, but for a lot of people (including us) the very word “Bellagio” is synonymous with Las Vegas at it’s grandest.

From the moment you lay eyes on the place, you know it’s a far cry from the tacky and wacky that defined Las Vegas architecture through the booming 1990’s.  And don’t get us wrong, we love tacky and wacky, there’s definitely a place for it in Las Vegas – the tackiest, wackiest place on Earth – but Bellagio is a welcome escape from all that noise.  Bellagio is set back just a ways from the chaos of the strip by an 8-acre man-made lake, giving it the appearance that it’s just a bit more quaint and cozy than the rest of the behemoths that line Las Vegas Blvd.  This lake is the setting for the world famous Fountains of Bellagio, one of the most iconic spectacles in Las Vegas.   It’s been seen in just about every movie, tv show, documentary, and music video that’s been shot in this town since the place opened.  Standing in front of the fountain shows at night, and just taking it in, never fails to give you some of the most Vegasy of Vegas goosebumps.

Enter the front door, walk through the lobby, look up and you’ll see another spectacle that in any other hotel would be the main attraction.  Dale Chihuly’s Fiori di Como, a blown glass masterpiece composed of over 2,000 hand-blown glass flowers that covers 2,000 sq ft of the lobby ceiling.

Welcome to the epitome of grandeur and indulgence in Las Vegas – the world-renowned Bellagio Hotel & Casino. In this extensive guide, we’re going to take you on an enchanting journey through this magnificent establishment, exploring every facet of its opulent amenities, world-class entertainment, sumptuous dining options, pulsating nightlife, and exhilarating casino experiences. Sit back, relax, and let’s delve into the glamorous and vibrant world of the Bellagio!
